Mel’s practice is focused on corporate and commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. Mel regularly advises a wide range of clients, from established companies to small businesses and startups, on share and asset transactions, corporate governance, and business structuring.

Before joining Greenfields Law in 2025, Mel practiced at a regional law firm and most recently worked in-house at a venture capital firm, where she gained valuable insight into the needs of growth-oriented businesses and their investors. Earlier in her career, Mel spent five years in the oil and gas industry in health & safety, where she developed a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and risk management that now informs a practical, solutions-oriented approach to client service.
